We are very pleased to announce Youth Coaching Institute, LLC has successfully earned the International Coaching Federation‘s Accreditation approval! Those in the coaching profession are aware the ICF’s coaching credentials serve as a gold standard for professional coaches. The ICF promotes high ethical and professional standards by providing oversight to coach educators through accreditation and approval of coach training programs.
✅ The ICF has been in the process of transitioning all accredited and/or approved coaching education providers to a new accreditation structure with even higher standards than before. While we’ve been approved at the ICF’s ACSTH level since 2015, successfully raising our own standards to remain aligned with the ICF’s more rigorous requirements is something to celebrate!
🌟 At YCI, our mission is two-fold. First, to combat distress and overwhelm with resilience building and empowerment by increasing access to evidence-based coaching for youth. Second, to train caring adults and youth serving professionals to do the same by increasing access to rigorous, research-based coach education and credentialing at accessible rates for social servants. Our goal is to help fill a support gap for struggling young people, one coach at a time. Our vision is that every teen and emerging adult may have access to a qualified life coach when they need one.
